INTERNATIONAL RELATION
On Monday, Nov 6th, 2006,
accepting an invitation by Prof. Dang Luong Mo, Prof. Kazuhiko
Takeuchi, Director, Division for International Relations, The
University of Tokyo, Japan, paid a short visit to Ho Chi Minh City
University of Natural Sciences (HCMUNS), Vietnam National University
Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).
The visit included a brief reciprocal
introduction of the two universities to each other, a discussion on
a possible mutual collaboration in various fields and on items of
interest to both universities, especially on the field of
Microelectronics and IC Design as the first step, and an inspection
of various facilities of the Faculty of Electronics and
Telecommunication (FETEL).
The host side for this meeting
includes: Prof. Duong Ai Phuong, HCMUNS Rector, Dr. Hoang Ngoc Cuong,
Deputy Head, HCMUNS International Relations Office, Prof. Nguyen Huu
Phuong, FETEL Dean, and Prof. Dang Luong Mo, VNU-HCM Advisor.
The successful meeting concluded in a
very friendly and cooperative atmosphere. Both sides agreed to work
together toward signing an official Cooperation Agreement after the
preparation for it by each side has been completed.
